# Software Engineering - Team Lead ( Full Stack )

#### **Your Role**

As Tech Team (m/f/d), we’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Team Lead who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

This is a leadership role with a strong coding component: you’ll spend 30–50% of your time writing and reviewing code, while also leading, mentoring, and growing a team of full-stack engineers.

As a Team lead at Slyce, you’ll not only define technical strategy but also work hands-on to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in TypeScript, React & NodeJS.

#### **Your Responsibilities**

- **Lead by Example**: Hands on approach & actively contribute code weekly (30–50% of your time) in TypeScript, React, NodeJS.
- **Manage & Mentor**: Directly lead a team of full-stack engineers, overseeing task distribution, code reviews, career growth, and performance management.
- **Shape Architecture & Strategy**: Work with senior leadership to define technical direction, roadmap, and key architecture decisions.
- **Drive Quality**: Ensure best practices, maintain code quality standards, and deliver robust, scalable systems.
- **Foster Culture**: Create a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team environment with clear communication and ownership.
- **Operate Remotely**: Effectively lead and support a distributed team across geographies.

#### **Your Profile**

- **Proven Hands-on Experience**: 10+ years in full-stack engineering, with deep expertise in TypeScript, React, NodeJS.
- **Current or Recent Coding Focus**: Strong track record of actively writing production code in React + TypeScript (not just oversight).
- **Leadership Experience**: 3+ years managing teams of full-stack engineers with direct responsibility for task allocation, reviews, and performance management.
- **Startup Mindset**: Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with a strong sense of ownership.
- **Attention to Detail**: Takes pride in writing high-quality, maintainable code and guiding the team to do the same.
- **Remote-ready**: Excellent communicator with proven success leading distributed teams.
- **Educational Background**: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
